Black Forest Stout is a blend of 2 year old Export Stout that was barrel aged in rye whiskey barrels and TenPine Porter conditioned with dark cherry puree.

The black elixir is capped by a frothy dark tan head and there is no shortage of whiskey, oak, and cherry in the aroma and flavor to compliment the roasted malt, chocolate, and heavily toasted bread. The feel is smooth and decadent but ends dry enough to revisit with sip after sip. Overall, I was blown away by this beer and wish I could have taken some home with me. A really delicious treat, and a perfect combination to the chilly November air. Cheers!
