I just sucked down two of these followed by a Miller Lite. ( I drink way too much so periodically I like to give my liver a break from stuff like Devil's Milk at 12% ABV). These two beers are nearly identical in taste with the Miller being more (too) carbonated, but this having a better mouth-feel/after taste. Not sure it's worth the extra $2.50 per six-pack over the Miller Lite though.

Look: Blonde and nearly clear on the pour and in the glass, a short-lived head forms and quickly dissipates to a film, leaving minimal lacing behind

Aroma: Freshly baked bread, honey-like sweetness, some raw dough, and light floral-led hop notes

Taste: Rich bread and bready malt start things off with layers of dough, warmed bread, and crust, along with a nice honey-like sweet note. Light floral hop notes are evident but only peek in occasionally as the bready malt is the star here. Closes with – you guessed it – more bread and honey

Mouthfeel: Full but light, smooth, soft, medium-high carbonation, and clean and soft on the finish

Overall: This is some tasty stuff. A classic from these folks and one I drink at least a couple of times each year as it’s hard to find a good, readily available, and packaged craft Blonde Ale. I’d put this near the top as it’s so simple and yet, so good with everything in perfect balance throughout. If the new owners dissolve these folks’ packaged beers, I will miss them all but especially so with this gem. Recommended

From the bottle, it pours golden with a small head, quickly dissipating to very little foam. Lightly malty in the nose, lightly malty in the mouth. Easy to drink ale.

Pours a half finger of head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is honey and grains.
The taste is fairly sweet with enough bitterness to balance it out.
The texture is crisp.
Not too bad.

Three Creeks Knotty Blonde Ale- 5.2% abv.

A: golden with insipid head.

S: probably the deal breaker, it’s like Wheaties gone wrong. Grainy. Weirdly yeasty.

T: thin pale grain and a sort of cracked grain starchy taste. Not really my thing.

M: thin and watery.

O: I don’t like this beer. It tastes weirdly grainy and watery with nothing else going on. Like a craft brew PBR clone with an extra bit of wheatiness. Probably the first actually mediocre beverage I have reviewed on my blog.

Ordered this in a taster set at the brewery in Sisters, 6/16/2015. This selection arrived, granted in a taster glass, here are my observations.

The beer arrived with literally no head, very light straw, nearly appeared like a pear cizer in color, but with so much haze I nearly expected a Hefe character. that wasn't the case

There was little to no hop note, as expected for a blond. the beer had little to no body and was nearly watery.

There was however a noticeable yeast ester which dominated the taste profile.

Not impressive...

A pleasant ale with a light malty finish. Refreshing, but not exceptional. Definitely worth the $2.99 (22oz.) I paid.
