Very nice rye ipa. Best one I've had in bottle from an Oregon brewery. Hazy orange color with a creamy white head. Rye spice goes well with the hoppy bitterness. Very pine forward ipa with a dry finish. Overall I enjoyed this will buy again.

From BeerAdvocate Magazine #73 (Feb 2013):
A whole lot going on here, the rye does a great job of being noticed throughout. Three Creeks was serious when they put IPA on the label as the hop character goes above and beyond, will easily make veteran hopheads happy. This is one of those beers you’d want to pair up with a stinky blue veined cheese.
STYLE: American IPA
ABV: 6.2%
AVAILABILITY: Rotating
LOOK: Beautiful amber glow, remarkable head
SMELL: Snappy citrus zest, spicy, fresh tropical fruit, grainy, mild whiff of alcohol
TASTE: Smooth, spicy bite, medium bodied, creamy, green peppercorn, pithy, leafy, biscuity, black tea, clementine rind, oily resin, dank, bitter, guava, grainy hoppy semi-dry finish

On tap at the brewpub in Sisters.
Deep medium-dark amber with a limited head and a few streaks of sticky lacing.
Aroma: Sweet. Caramel malts with some fruity hops with a faint herbal aspect.
Flavor: Medium strong herbal hop punch with building bitterness partially reduced by the malts. A load of grapefruit and orange peel in the finish.
Feel: Near medium body with appropriate crisp carbonation.
O: recommended as an alternative to a APA.

22 oz bottle bought from Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem. $4.79 Pours a hazy burnt orange colour with a nice big thick, creamy off white head. Floral and resiny hops abound in the aroma with a spicy rye and salt caramel aromas also..very nice. Good creamy caramel, spicy rye and earthy hops make the taste very good. Lovely medium and smooth mouthfeel carbonation medium high lends to drinkabilty Excellent rye accented IPA

on tap at Russell Street Bar-B-Que, Portland
Deep amber with pitted sandstone head.
Rye spice, mango, resin, pineapple - thundering fresh nose.
Caramel and pink grapefruit, then papaya, OJ, and resin hops.
Red grapefruit finish and grassy linger.
Medium, a bit of oil, well chewy.
Amarillo, Bravo and Centennial hops. 20% rye malt
Big and juicy, with just enough rye. Every color of grapefruit is captured in the hop character. Enough caramel and slight smoke to handle BBQ meats.
