Pretty excited to try this. On tap at Seabright Brewery. Hazy dull goldenrod color with a thin white head. Aroma is lemon and lime, somewhat solventy. Flavor is a big letdown. It's not really sour at all. There's a lot of fusel/ethanol action going on, really fumey for a beer with modest abv. Aside from the booziness, the flavor is sorta like Mike's Hard Lemonade. Watery lemony spritzer with a vodka-esque sharpness. Hot on the throat. Gets a bit better with warmth but not much. Some lime and grain flavors emerge. The lack of acidity (along with the abundance of alcohol) crushes the drinkability and makes the finish sticky and unclean. I love sour beer and I like Uncommon but I couldn't finish this one. It almost seems like there's something wrong with it, but I've never had a quality issue with them.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
