A: Poured a lightly hazed pale straw color with a nice white cap which had some legs on it, sticking around even after a few sips
S: Chardonnay barrel was on top of it! I was digging it. Loads of fresh orchard fruits and white grapes.
T: Initial taste is chardonnay upfront which leads into a light poppy seed but very faint, as its masked by the base beer...apples, pears, Belgian yeast provides some Earthiness. The finish, is clean, flavorful and refreshing.
M: Light-medium bodied, well carbonated, a bit dry with a little sweetness. A good dose of barrel is still noted
O: My first Uncommon beer was a hit!
