22 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 6/5/2015. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange peel, peach, pineapple, banana, bubblegum, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon zest, orange peel, peach, pineapple, banana, bubblegum, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light amount of earthy bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon/orange peel, peach, pineapple, banana, bubblegum, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, floral, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, moderate citrus/tropical hops, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding hefeweizen. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. The aromas were much stronger the citrus/tropical hops as expected with dry hopping. A lot of it did carry over into the flavor as well, but it was much more balanced with the standard hefeweizen flavor profile. A highly enjoyable offering all around.

Described as a dry hopped hefeweizen ale.
Pours a murky dark honey orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Tiny streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of wheat, grain, caramel, banana, spice, earth, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with wheat, caramel, banana, spice, and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice and yeast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with solid aromas and tasty flavors for the style, but I am not really getting anything that would lead me to believe this was dry hopped at all.
