Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a slightly cloudy yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is mild hops. The taste is slight hops with a very similar taste of iced tea.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong earthy malt, Euro yeast, slight hops, hint of wheat, and strong pepper. Fits the style of a Munich Helles Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong earthy malt, Euro yeast, slight hops, hint of wheat, hint of hop, slight pale malt, grass, and strong pepper. Overall, decent appearance, pepper and earthy malt dominate aroma and body, and not good blend.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Extremely clean lagering with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately grainy/bready, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a great Munich Helles! All around great robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Highly flavorful for the low ABV. Spot on style example all around. A really enjoyable offering.

Low 'N Easy Lager has a thick, off-white head, a hazy, golden appearance, ascending bubbles, and lots of heavy lacing left on the glass. A descending yellow-gray cloud is present, following the "swish & pour". The aroma is a sharp, full, metallic (iron), sour-dough bread, cream cheese, and generalized funk. Taste is the same- with a zingy hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Low 'N Easy finishes dirty and exceptionally interesting. Is this a landbier?

It is another slow afternoon here at Chez Woody and with the Bottle Backlog glaring at me, I am continuing to chip away at it.

From the bottle: "Seasonal"; "Est. 1987".

I Pop!ped the cap and gave it a fairly heavy-handed pour, producing two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with decent retention. Color was Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with NE-quality clarity. Nose had a honey & cereal sweetness, pretty much what should be expected in the style. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not much beyond it. The taste had a light cereal sweetness along with a light dried-hay flavor to give it a bit of bitterness. Finish was in that realm between semi-sweet & semi-dry, attesting to a nice balance in its ingredients. It truly lived up to its name in that it had a low ABV and it was extremely easy drinking. What more could you want from the style (other than to have them put it in CANs)?

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a good-sized, off-white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, light toffee and floral notes. Light toasted caramel flavor and roasted malt with minimal bitterness. Light bodied and easy drinking.
