The colour is deep dark red; almost black. The two finger head builds a fine crater, it is firm and brown.

The smell is roasted and dry with notes of black bread (Pumpernickel), a fine bitterness and some sour notes of dough.

The body is medium to weak. The taste is roasted and a bit dry. Lots of toasted bread (with a burned touch). Some fruity bitter notes (lime). The aftertaste is pleasantly roasted with a bitterness that borders on sourness. Pumpernickel in the finish.

The carbonation is light (small bubbles); the liquid smooth.

A bit to sour/tart for me and a thin body even for the style.
