The beer is clear dark brown with hints of ruby red, the tan head is compact but rather small, rather good curtains.
The smell has burnt toast, coffee aromas and some vinous notes.
The taste is brown candy sugar sweet, dried fruits, sherry and Madeira, coffee and cocoa beans.
Medium low carbonation, a nice smooth body and slightly dry finish.
A really good and enjoyable stout (rather porter-like IMHO).

The colour is black; the finger thick head is brown.
The smell is dry with notes of coffee. Some sweetness and hints of milk chocolate. Somewhat raw flavours, but I like it.
The taste is raw and rough, perhaps a bit sharp. Notes of rolled oats and rye bread. Sour flavours, the body is weak. I found notes of cream/sour cream in the aftertaste. A growing neutral bitterness and hints of yeast and alcohol in the finish.
The carbonation is very strong; the bubbles are medium sized and sharp.
A nice stout that is partly ruined by the strong carbonation.
