Brewery calls this a "single-hop American Pale Ale made with 100% New Zealand grown Nelson Sauvin hops."

The color is a dark amber in the half-pint shaker-style glass. An appealing pile of foam with lots of lacing. A little mango aroma. Some malty sweetness and a lot of roast malt. Surprisingly rich and warm for the lighter weight. Some burnt toast flavor and then unleash the hops!

The finish is kind of harsh. Something like wheat straw and junper twigs. Overall, it's a hop stew of murky flavors with a hugely bitter aftertaste. My least favorite of the Breakwater brews that I've tasted. On tap at the brewery restaurant in Oceanside.
