On tap at Breakwater.

A: Dark brown with a subtle red tinge and a small beige head.

S: Dark fruit is pronounced, imparting notes of grape, plum, and fig. The beer is lightly spicy, with coriander and pepper. There's a light roasted element. Alcohol is soft. This smells quite nice.

T: Peppery phenols blend with strong fruity esters that remind me of plum and grape. Malt is sweet and bready, with sugary notes. Alcohol is well hidden for the high ABV. I get a little coriander as well.

M: Upper medium in body with matching carbonation. The mouthfeel is sticky and silky with evident warming.

Overall: Eric does a good quad.
