Pours a hazy copper body with lots of well-retained creamy head. The aroma has a lot of the subtle sweetness of Labrador tea, along with some floral yeast and citrusy, piney hops. It makes for something very different from what you would get from a standard IPA, but the touch of traditional and native herbs added reminds me of walks through the forest in the end when everything is in bloom and the pine needles are at their most aromatic. The taste has predominantly spicy and sweet Labrador tea flavours, along with some piney hop bitterness and a bit of maltiness. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, leading into an exquisitely well balanced finish. Is it a true Belgian IPA? Not at all. But is it a damn good beer? You had best believe it. I look forward to having more Labrador tea based ales!!!

*The beer was bottled in March (4 months ago) so it's not as fresh as I like my IPAs, but we'll see.
Between golden and amber in color, with a nice carbonation and a huge foamy head. Nice hoppy smell, really tropical aromas, you also get some tea in the nose but it's subtle. A little disappointing in the mouth the balance between the tea taste and the hops is not too good. It got a really dry finish, not a pleasant bitterness either. Maybe it's better when it's really fresh but I don't think I'll try it again, there's just too much good IPAs on the market.
There were some weird residue in the beer after I poured it all though, I guess it's the yeast but I've never seen it and that much before, it really grossed me out.
