Tap (Hivernale): Poured a deep amber color ale with a nice large foamy head. Aroma consists of huge resinous hoppy notes with a deep caramelized sugar notes and some fruity notes with peach really coming through. Taste is a complex and easily drinkable mix between some resinous hoppy notes, peach and citrus hops and semi-sweet caramelize malt. Body is quite full with good carbonation and surprisingly no apparent alcohol. This is one hell of a hoppy barleywine and quite a treat overall.
