Pours a beautiful clear orange with a lovely thick and fluffy pure white head. Nice to look at.
Nose is light and without much character. Hints of hazelnuts but also hints of chlorine.
Mouth feel is really inviting. Low carbonation (which I tend to like) and a rich balanced character. Quite nice in the mouth, unfortunately....
The flavor profile is a bit bitter orange or bitter citrus pith and not all that inviting or pleasant.
Finish is bitter and "green" in character.

Pours a lovely shade of mid-amber in the shaker, with foam standing up nicely. Light bodied. Aroma of hazelnuts with that musty note.
This is oddly woody, musty, and nutty. Quite bitter. It makes me think of walnut skins. Brewer claims 45 IBUs. Resiny gunky taste sticks in the back of the throat. Not much pleasure in this stuff. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at New Seasons Market in Portland.
