I agree with lots of what 80x2 said in his review.
My wife brought this bottle home from City Market in Burlington.
Poured into a snifter. Color is a deep hazy tangerine with nice fluffy head two fingers high.
Aromas were pleasant though a bit mild, some sweetness, some fruit, good malts in the nose.
Taste was interesting, not a hop or bitterness bomb, a solid mix of hop and malts. Some distinct smokiness/almost dank licorice on the finish,
Decent bitterness as well.
Mouthfeel was solid.
Matt Nadeau put out a nicely balanced beer with this.

Just picked up a 22oz bomber of this new DIPA at City Market on 9/29. The label read brewed with centennial, cascade and columbus hops- 75IBU and 8%. Filled with hop-flavor to celebrate the co-ops 40th anniversary. Lately I have been impressed with Rock Arts Belvidere, IPA (II) and especially their pro pig ale so I figured I had to give this one a try. The color was a nice dark honey orange but not too cloudy. Smell is not too overwhelming, more piney and resinous with the citrusy and floral notes in the background, the malt comes in at the end, however I cant pick up one the booze at all- well balanced. No one element is too prominent on the pallet- moderately piney and resinous, slightly floral but not citrusy at all and I am thoroughly enjoying the clean bitter taste that doesn't overwhelm the palette and leaves room for the malt to come through. Overall quite good if your not looking for a piney earthy not so citrusy DIPA and one that isn't malt forward and leaves a clean bitter taste. This is certainly a well done brew and one that I would suggest trying for the style and for the hop profile.
