Purchased at Pearl Street Beverage in a growler.
Pours a nice golden hue with a huge head into my glass. Seems very fresh judging by the lacing on the glass, etc.
A healthy dose of citrus greets the nose, followed by crisp malt underneath. I'm not sure exactly which citrus hops were used but I will venture a guess that they originated from New Zealand.
Taste is crisp and chock full of sweet, buttery grain texture. There's a touch of pine resin as well, which detracts from the overall feel.
Finishes with that same note of pine resin and butteriness from the malt.
A decent effort at the style from Rock Art. I just feel that the citrus could have made it to the finish. Worth a try but make sure you get a couple of friends because as far as I know, it's only available in growlers at this time.

This beer is phenomenal. I really enjoy the extra "bite" that the lager yeast affords. Lots of classic pine taste, along with exotic fruit flavors -Im thinking passionfruit and starfruit- and a slight mintyness. Dryer than a traditional IPA. Very very nice.
