On tap at Brewster River Brewpub. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with some brown hues. Thin white head. Light lacing. The aroma starts with clean sweet malts. Low bitter earthy hops. Some light grassiness. The flavor starts with the sweet malts and lets in some light earthy hops. Sly spiciness. Malty aftertaste with the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Low carbonation. Earthy fresh bitterness is there for some harshness on my tongue. Overall, interesting DIPA, would I have again, possibly.
