In my top 3 all-time beers. Mosaic hops are amazing and it has a crisp, clean taste. If you like IPAs, Rock Art Mosaic Double IPA is an undefeated World Champion. An 86 rating does not do this beer or brewery justice, my friends.

On tap at Vermont Tap house. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy semi-burnt orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated at a nice pace. Semi-sticky lacing glosses thinly around the sides of the glass. The smell started off with a bright sweet citrus happiness. Some bitterness rides in underneath. Subtle pine. The flavor takes on some nice citrus sweetness to ride thoroughly through right on into the aftertaste. Mostly sweet malty finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides light enough to allow some nice stickiness to move over my tongue. Overall, good DIPA by Rock Art, they seem to be getting this style these days.

From a 16oz can

It is a dark gold with copper hues. A decent amount of off white foam dissolved pretty quick.

It smells outstanding. Some pungent, dank, almost body odor like hops. Spicy mango, pineapple, and musty melon and guava with a biscuit backdrop.

The flavors are really short of the aroma. It falls off as you continue to drink it. The mango amd pineapple are there up front, then it takes a nose dive into a very bready taste, with lingering sweet grains.

A pretty good beer overall, but it lacks some balance.

Tall can...214/17

Lucious looking pour, heavily clouded from the jump, moderate fine bubble sheeting.

Tropical juice nose

More ripe tropical fruit goodness on the palate, pineapple, grapefruit and mango...very easy drinking...robustly hoppy burps...delicious....go get some

This one looked good, thick white frothy big bubbled head, moderate haze in straw colored base.

Head settles into thin whispy cap and there is plenty of lacing.

Aroma is bright hops, Mango and hint of residual malt sweetness.

Flavor a bit subdued, malt and tropical fruit balanced, but neither takes the reigns. Hints of citrus.

Moderate carbonation and medium body. A bit syrupy.

Overall a nice brew, but lacks a bit of punch in the flavor.

Not an over the top hoppy IPA. Definite hop influence but East coast style. Pleasant tropical hoppy taste and aroma. This is a good IPA and worth your time.

Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a slightly hazy golden body with very little lacing. Nose of tropical fruit and slight citrus. Taste follows with very nice smooth bitterness. Feel is a tad lacking and overall an easy drinking DIPA with nice flavor.

Just released in cans on 2/14/17. Might be a revamp of their Mosaic IPA, now at 7.5%. Pours a hazy blond/amber hue with a thin head into my glass. Mango in the nose. Juicy mango upfront with a hell of a decent malt backbone. Super clean finish. Worth every penny. One of the better mosaic single hop ipas/dipas available now.
