Canned on 02/4/20.
Second time I had this one, first time was too long ago to remember how it went the first time. This time I opted for a mason jar (let's call this "for science").
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange to semi-murky copper color. A small finger and a half's worth of white foamy head slid off to leave some messy lace.
The aroma had a stiff bittersweet piney to super light floral hop character biting into a mostly clean biscuity malt.
The flavor leads with that mostly clean malt bill with bits and chunks of piney hops, some grassiness and some floral hops. Semi-sticky aftertaste of bittersweet piney tones and some floral hops.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. Finishes bitter, crisp and semi-dry welcoming some biscuity malts.
Overall, as an APA, I'd say it works, wouldn't mind again preferably with some food.

Do love me a well done APA, hopefully this isn't too piney or earthy, although that could be OK too if done the right way. Rock Art still has the ability to surprise me with a good beer here and there,
Pours a nice fluffy white 2 finger head with some big bubbles that pop quickly, fades at a med to slower pace and leaves nice spotty lacing, mostly clear slight hazy orange slight amber hue color.
Nose is interesting, mostly floral hops, little fruity as well with hint of peach and apple like fruits somehow, touch of grassy hop, there's also an interesting honey aroma that seems to pop up quickly then disappear, a bit of citrus comes through with a mild sweet malt base, and hint of candied orange peel.
Taste is a little light, well it just seems that way since the malts are almost non-existant, it's more like hop water. Hops are plenty though, again floral and grassy, mostly grassy and a little leafy, but also brings mild citrus components, and just a touch of pine resin, fairly juicy hop character too. The bitterness starts light but ramps as there is no malt to keep it balanced, as it finishes and dries even more, it gets quite bitter, and makes me want to keep sipping and not even put the glass down. It's kinda refreshing in that sense.
Mouth is lighter bod, lots of carbonation, enough that gives a nice aroma, but seems to get in the way of the flavor a bit.
Overall not bad, nice hop component for sure, floral, grassy, with hints of citrus and very light pine resin, the bitterness is nice overall for an APA with mild bitterness in the middle, and a big bitter finish that gets washed away with each new sip. The malts are the only real let down, they're pretty much not there and the beer has very little body because of it, so it gets a little lost and hops just smash everything, also the carbonation is a little much. Otherwise a pretty nice beer.
