Pours a copper color with a pretty nice, full, white head and decent lacing.

Smell is mainly biscuit, butter, hints of apple, caramel, mowed grass, and floral hops. Not an overpowering but not a bad aroma.

Taste is pretty malty with the smallest bit of hop bite. There is a definite presence of caramel and buttery essence here. A bit the combination of fruit and floral flavoring to this one as well.

Medium carbonation and body to this one.

Overall, this is a pretty decent beer. Nothing too earth shattering here. Taste is pretty good, if a bit muted. This is definitely a more subtle beer, and it may not be one that many American craft brew fans would think is worth of emulation. On the whole, though, I think a beer like this one merits some level of appreciation.

Pours a cloudy orange with a fluffy ecru head. Crisp, clean flavors of caramel, grassy hops, even a bit of apple. Very earthy and, well, organic.

It doesn't exactly have big, bold flavors, but it's not bad. At 5% ABV, this would be a very nice lawn mower beer. Or a gateway into craft beer for the uninitiated.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with very active carbonation, foaming a bit out of the bottle and then very effervescent in the glass, finally leaving a thin white head and lacing. Aroma of bready malt, apple and pear juice, light fruit and yeast. Flavor leans towards biscuit malt, light grassy hops and a touch of fruit juice, finishing slightly dry and herbally bitter. Medium bodied with quite pleasant peppery carbonation, which is still active in the taste although it has quieted in the glass. Flavors are light and not complex, but there is a nice dry malt flavor base. I look forward to trying the lager from this brewer.

Poured into 9oz pilsener glass. Poured a nicely clean, clear golden straw color with about 3/4 inch of off-white head that had good retention and low lacing.

The aroma was very good, a nice mix of earthy grains, lightly sweet malts and just tangy enough hops. The flavor profile was similar, just a bit better developed. The grains had an interesting base flavor, and the maltiness balanced with the hops nicely to provide a well blended taste. The were just a bit sharper than they were in the scent.

The body was very good, smooth, even and full, without being heavy or sticky. Drinkability was very good indeed, several of these could down easily during a session at the pub or on the porch. Overall, a very nice beer. When you're in the mood for smooth, easy drinking brew that won't knock you out of the chair, this would be a great choice.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium orange to light copper in color with some moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some amber highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy off-white head that reduces to a very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: There is a moderate aroma of pale bready malts and slightly doughy yeast. Light to moderate notes of spicy, herbal, and grassy hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate slightly earthy pale bready/biscuity malts with some notes of light fruit esters (primarily apple but there is also a hint of pear). After that, there are light to moderate flavors of spicy herbal hops with just a touch of earthy and grassy hops. Light to moderate amounts of bitterness which fade somewhat quickly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: This is a pretty decent English Pale Ale that I rather enjoyed, though judging by the best by date it was very fresh (there are 11 months remaining on the best by date). There is a nice combination of flavors from both the hops and the malts. Easy to drink and one I would enjoy again.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that has very good retention properties and consistently left a quarter finger high head covering the surface and lots of lacing running down the sides of the glass.
S: There are light aromas of pale bready malts and fruity, earthy and doughy yeast in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except flavors of biscuits and bread are discernible from the malts and the hops contribute a very slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is well balanced and definitely tastes organic with all of the different types of flavors from the hops and malts.

The beer pours a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma has a bit of skunk to it, as well as a lot of biscuit, earth and grass notes. The flavor is full of earthy and grassy notes, with a ton of nasty skunk notes. I am not sure how a brown bottle skunked, but this beer is gross. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
