Six pack from market in Walla Walla. Golden pour, light cloudiness, small head. Citrusy, floral aroma. Taste stays the course, earthy, herbal floral. Mild bitterness finishes it.

Clear orange with three fingers of cream color head. Swathes of lace as head slowly drops.
Smell is slightly dank green hop resins.
Taste is dank green hop oils with just enough malt support.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is dry and bitter.
Overall a tasty West Coast IPA.

Brewed in the heart of hop country, Wizard IPA does have a magic quality. Using an original copper boiling kettle (1982) from craft brewing legend Bert Grant, this beer has a lot of appeal; gorgeous in the glass with a perfect head, zinging the palate on the front end, satisfying on the back end and looks great in an empty glass. Yakima Craft Brewing is relatively new to the beer business but they are on the right track. Delish!

Clear orangey dark amber with plenty of foam. Some orange aroma, a blast of citrus peel, and a hot oily aftertaste on the lips. This reminds me of Hand Cannon IPA from Iron Horse, for totally overamping a great hop to blow out the taste buds. It's so bitter my eyes water.

Fairly dry with grapefruit pith taking over the taste. After a few grimacing sips I have to call this undrinkable. Maybe OK for the old school hop operators who have never had a beer too bitter. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

Appearance is slightly hazy, unfiltered orange-amber with visible particles in suspension. A moderate beige head has average retention and excellent lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral, specifically, roses. Taste combines floral and resinous citrus peel notes. Medium body with a lingering mildly bitter finish.
