Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clear honey-amber color with over an inch of just off-white head that dissipated quickly and left bare traces of lacing.
A sweet, malty aroma comes across the nose with just a whisper of hops at the end. The flavor is also malt forward with that little kiss of hops on the finish.
Body was slightly fuller than usual for this style. Drinkability was very good, these slide right down the throat with no effort. Overall, a pretty good example of a less than exciting style. Worth trying if you see it.

As with their pale ale, the amber shows refined clarity from isinglass finings. It is red-amber hued with a caramel sweetness and low bittering courtesy of its exclusive use of Simcoe hops. I noted the draught version delivered abundant lace though the bottled amber was relatively lace-free. The earthen aroma and simple design make for casual ease of appreciation.

22oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Clear bronze amber color, nice think lather of foam on top. Toasted biscuit aroma with a faint raw honey / light caramel sweetness and herbal citric hop in the back. Fluffy smoothness within a moderately sized body. Beautiful mix of toasted malt sweetness, slightly citric hop bite, nutty yeast and a mild fruity ester. Finishes a little sweet with a citric backing.
Flavorful with no frills. An easy going Amber Ale, very well balanced and definitely drinkable. A lunch time beer for sure.
