A: Poured a nice golden orange color with good carbonation and a small white head. Plenty of bubbles too.
S: Candy, banana, booze, spice
T: Belgian yeast, ripe banana, spice, booze with sweet candy
M: Finishes dry, sting of booze and plenty of yeast, sugary sweet.
D: Nice, but wow, pretty hard hitting on the booze.

22 oz. bottle from West Richland Beer and Wine, poured into the workhorse Piraat tulip, 3.6.10.
One finger light white head, almost instantaneous dissipation, no lacing at all. Mango orange clear body, a few small trails of carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass. The nose features a curacaoish orange citrusy initial hit, but the caradamon/pepper notes are overwhelmed by the cloyingly sweet body. Overall the taste is very sweet. no noticeable bitterness, the hops are obscured by the sweetness. Decent carbonation mouthfeel with a pretty dry finish, close to style. A bit high in ABV for style to want to drink more than one. Overall, too much sweetish bubblegum, not enough balance. Pass.

pours a clear yellow-orange with a thin white head, no carbonation, and no lacing.
smell is of malt, fruit, yeast, and a sweetness in the back.
taste is on the flat side, fruit, nuts, malt, and a little banana, ends flat, and a little dry.
overall a okay beer, needs some carbonation to liven it up.

22oz bomber from 99 Bottles in Federal Way, Wash.
First released in March 2009; this bottle is part of the December 2009 release.
Good Monkey is a Belgian-style golden ale. Big ripe banana flavor, with hints of spices. Nicely warming on a chilly spring eve.
A great deal at just over $5/bomber.
