Review from BeerAdvocate magazine Vol. II Issue VIII:
Brewed by Brouwerij De Ranke for Bierwinkel.
Rocky, towering head rises quickly from a moderate pour; good frothing for sure. Massive rings of lace on the glass show off the excellent retention quality it possesses. Bright golden yellow color only shows a faint haze; the bottom inch of beer/sediment was left in the bottle. Punchy aroma of chalky yeast, mangoes, delicate, herb-like phenols, Asian pears, star fruit and a sweet maraschino cherry note. Smooth and slightly crisp with a bitty medium body. Herbal phenols and hop bitterness start off with a nice, sharp bite. Malt sweetness is mellow and drops a biscuity flavor middle to end. A little warming alcohol gives off suggestions of ripe pear, mango and kiwi.
A little rustic or dirty on the edges, basically it's not a clean Tripel. Still very tasty and certainly worth a try.

I had the opportunity to try this beer while spending some time in Wevelgem this past year. Nino brews this triple for his brothers beer store and only produces it for this only store. Basically it is a less hoppy, but still dry, version of Guldenberg. A solid beer, would you expect anything different from De Ranke? With that said, Guldenberg is the better beer in my opinion.

Best before november 10. Recipe made by "bierwinkel Bacelle" in Wevelgem. Nice and lasting white head and peach collored hazy beer. Nose is some hops( english/belgium spicy), maltyness and bit of yeastfruit. Quiet strong taste with good maltyness and warming alcohol. Obvious this is near the XX but missing the hop bite. Stated used many hops but IMO just well hopped and far from overdone. Well balanced and fitting carbonation that's moderate. Very enjoyable and well drinkable brew.
