Poured a lazy brown color with good carbonation and a dirty white head. Nose is mint, lots of it, spice, caramel, malt extract even. Taste is mint, caramel, spice, with light booze feel. On the end and mouthfeel there is a annoying flavor, like a malt extract flavor from a homebrew kit. It killed this for me.

This a version of Big Als winter warmer made with mint. Basically all aspects of this brew remain the same with the addition of a minty, Andes Candy type of flavor. The beer is good but your opinion of this beer is going to depend on your taste for mint. Personally, I enjoyed the beer and flavor but probably wouldn't drink more than one in a row. Worth a shot when you see it.
