On tap at the Washington brewers festival on Sunday. Pours jet black with a minimal tan head. The guy working the boot said it was a 7 gallon batch aged with a few pounds of peanut butter. Barely an aroma to it, can almost force myself to smell the peanuts, smells mostly of faint chocolate malt. Taste is roast malt with a big chocolate back, and a barely perceptable raost peanut character. It is so subtile you would miss it if you didn't know you were drinking a peanut stout. Mouthfeel is just about right, but I feel this beer would do best with just a touch of residual sweetness instead of being so dry.

This is a very limited brew that Alejandro and the crew brew up for special occaisions, most recently for the Washington Brewers Fest. I've had this beer several times and enjoy it each time. A basic, solid stout with the addition of actual Peanut Butter. The nutty aroma reaches the nose and catches you by surprise every time.On the tongue it's a great combo of chocolate and nuts, like a mellow Reeses cup. Body is typical for a stout and drinkability is good. This is a must try if you ever see it.
