Served in 10oz glass. Poured a nice deep red color, with just a slight touch of haze, and had only a thin head with low retention and lacing.
The aroma was strong with the smell of cherries. A lot of cherries. Then I noticed the sour tang and an underlying graininess. The tongue and lips puckered as soon as the beer hit them. The taste of cherries was definite and just a bit of yeast showed through.
The body was good for the style, perhaps a bit more full and well-rounded. Drinkability was very good, if you're into sours. Overall, a very nice little brew. Worth seeking out in it's very limited release.
