On tap at Beveridge Place Pub in Seattle, WA on May 23, 2011. Produced for the Iron Brewer competition as part of Seattle Beer Week 2011.

A: The beer poured deep brown color with small head brownish white foam. No real lacing of note.

S: As the name suggests, there were very strong notes of plum along with some earthy notes, yeast and vinegar.

T: Strong sour plum flavor with a hint of sesame seeds. Almost reminded me of eating umeboshi (pickled Japanese sour plums).

M: Dry mouth feel with medium carbonation and a sour bite.

O: The flavors were pretty overwhelming, definitely not my favorite Iron Brewer submission.

A: Poured a off brownish color with ok carbonation and a small dirty white cap

S: Pretty standard here. FUnk, sourness, hint at some vinegar maybe

T: Light detectable note of sesame, plum is light, the tasting notes are pretty subdued and just masked by sourness

M: Medium body,sour and funky

O: Average sour. Not one I would recommend and a nother average beer from overrated Big Al.
