Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear orange-amber color with just the thinnest cap of white head that had no retention or lacing.
A bit of grain showed up in the aroma, but the predominant scent was chili pepper. No real hops in the nose. Same story on the tongue, the pepper just dominates.
The body was decent, crisp and even, with nice carbonation throughout. Drinkability was a bit tough, I struggled through the pint. Overall, an interesting experiment, one that didn't really work for me, but others folks here at the bar are liking it more than I am. YMMV.
