Reviewed from notes. Growler share with a buddy. The appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that softened to some light stringy lace. The aroma had a nice blend of sweet and roasty malts - slight nuts, some cocoa powder. Light vanilla ever so slight in the background. The flavor leans towards the sweetness of the blend of the previously mentioned aromas. Slides nicely together in the aftertaste and finish. The feel was about medium bodied, maybe a touch under with a good sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation and the ABV felt good. Overall, nice brown ale that I wish I could get again.
