Another Malt-centric beer, this potent brew is notable for its hint of peat-smoked grains.

chocolate caramel aroma with some toffee and hints of smoke. No hop aroma. The flavor is caramel malt forward with some coffe flavors leads to a smokey lingering flavor. The beer had a Dark red thin head with a Medium-full body and medium carbonation. Overall it was a clean beer but not as flavorful as I would like.

Pours a dark amber, approaching a brownish color, small tan head produced from the growler fades quickly, decent amount of lacing on the glass though as it empties.
Smell is essentially roasted malt, pretty roasted with a hint of toffee.
Taste starts out with the strong roasted malt front, slight burnt bitterness in the aftertaste, carbonation is medium, mouthfeel is fairly creamy yet also a bit thin at the same time.

A really beautiful beer: dark red/brown, with a thick white had that looked like whipped cream. It had a mild toffee aroma, and a similar mild toffee taste. A little bit of hops at the end. However, there was some residual bitterness that was not altogether pleasant. One and done.
