The gf and I are big fans of the style, but this one was lacking. Semi-cloudy brownish pour with little head. Faint malt nose, and taste. Some sort of metallic bitterness that didn't seem quite right. Finish was fairly smooth.

Pours a copper color with a great sized head that sticks around for a good while and leaves a decent amount of lacing.
The smell is almost nonexistent (maybe it can't get past the giant fluffy head), picking up some slight malt aromas.
Taste is bitter, as it should be, but the bitterness is more of an aftertaste and isn't overly pleasant, the mouthfeel is as it should be though, low carbonation and a creaminess at room temp.
Seems all over the place, not sure if I'd visit this beer ever again. The Cassk Kickin' IPA on the other hand...
