One of our fastest selling beers, this is a refreshing German Hefeweizen with a citrusy lightness that belies its strength. Great on a hot summer day. Unfiltered.

Served in a hefeweizen glass at the Run of the Mill.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy pale yellow orange color with no clarity of anything.

Smell: Tart wheat, vanila, green apple, herbal, and grassy hops.

Taste: Chewy and tart wheat with some slight vanilla, apple, herbal, and grassy notes.

Mouthfeel: Refreshing, crisp, tart, chewy, light, and medium carbonation.

Overall: Nice wheat or pale wheat. Good choice for my growler.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a cloudy, darker straw yellow color. There was a wisp of an off-white head. It had minimal lacing. The aroma is a bit lighter. Wheat, lemon, banana, touch of clove, hints of citrus. The taste is good. Wheat, lemon, touch of clove. A decent hefe.

Poured a hazy, dark straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.

The smell featured light esters and a light wheat spice.

The taste consisted of light malts and a soft wheat spice. Some diacytl.

The mouthfeel was typical for the style.

Overall a decent ale.
