Tasted by half-pint at the Penderel's Oak, a JDW pub nr. Holborn station, London.
A: chestnut brownish hue with strong reddish hints, spongey beer head and nice lacing; low carbonation. Decent.
S: caramel malts and not so sweet raisins upfront, with a mild note of coconut and faintly mixed spice. Very light fruity maltiness overall.
T: semi-sweet malty overtone covering mildly sour-sweet fruitiness (berries+pear), with a flat-textured bitter twist of herbs in the background. The lingering herbal bitterness makes up for the slightly lack of a fuller body and pronounced flavour.
M&D: the mouthfeel is refreshing due to the invisible tiny fizz, but overall it's slightly thin-bodied. A malty bitter with enough fruity presence but also like a winter warmer, yet in any case it needs more malts to provide more body~~
