Imperial pint on cask at the local social club.
A: light copper/amber, with thin head of off-white foam, lots of lacing
S: mildly spicy, maybe cinnamon?
T: fruity, mild lemon, with some tartness of raspberry--but these are all quite mild and held together with a grassy/grainy flavor palate
M: light and refreshing--could imagine this would be great outside on a sunny day; slightly more carbonated than most cask ales
D: very drinkable!

Gales Swing Low is an good example of a beer that should be brewed all year round is better than a lot of all yaer round ordinary bitter avalible.A nice quench stopping, refreshing beer that has a nice all round flavour, which makes this beer great for a long evening at the pub.

Tasted by a half pint at a Fullers pub nr. the London Bridge station, central London, on 19 Feb. 2007. Hand-pulled without the aid of a sparkler. This was the first Chiswick-brewed Gales beer that Ive tried since Fullers took over Gales business.
A: bright reddish amber in colour, coming with an off-white fluffy head and low carbonation.
S: mildly tart-plummy fruits with a floral hint underline a dense honey-ish maltiness, while the woody and eggy sulphurs in the background do not go unnoticed.
T: an unique prune-ish & woody flavour upfront is ensued by biscuity pale malts and fast-intensifying spicy-zesty edge as of Styrian Goldings the aftertaste has a long, slightly herbal, hoppiness and musty yeastiness, that is intensively dry, bitter, and at times tangy as well, although it does feel a bit thin in the end.
M&D: mildly fizzy and med-bodied, this is a very easy-drinking Bitter with a long aftertaste and a special yeasty touch; it couldve fared better if the texture does not thin out in the end, though.

Pours with a deep rich coppery body, some thin amber hints throughout. Puffy bubbly white head forms abiut half an inch thick, solid retention although soon settles down to a fine whisp of white lacy head
Smell, rich sticky english malt. Some slight dried fruit aroma, little bit of mustiness. Fresh english hops, a little touch of acidity
Taste, crisp but fairly thin mouthfeel. Solid bitterness followed up by a nice whack of crunchy malt in the background
