ill admit im biased, but im a fan of this brew. its nothing mind boggling, but its tasty, easy to drink and can be got for a dirt cheap price.
this beer comes with your usual copperish color, a quite decent head that leaves good lacing, and a zippy carbonation. theres not a huge aroma to it. some nice caramel tones, along with some noble hops. the taste is smooth, excellent malts, some roasted nut tones, and some sweet almost floral tones from the yeast that is unique to these beers. finish is crisp, has a nice level of bitterness and a pleasant aftertaste. very very easy to knock back.
great easy drinking beer that never fails its duty. not hugely complex, but along the lines of the great english ales, stays well within itself but remains in good form throughout the session.
