Bottle from Mr Kennedy - Big thanks Owen!!!!

Pours an orange/copper, white a sensational two finger off-white head. Some floaties in the bottom. Good lacing.

Aromas of all the Right Stuff. Plenty of citrus, pine, resin notes.

Taste is not quite there with smell, but nearly, a little dulled. Good but not overweight hop bitterness on the back palate carries the beer. Interesting - no one flavour carries, complexity is the key.

Mouthfeel is medium weight, lowish carbonation, slighty oily.

Really great beer from a largely unknown brewery - at least to me.

500ml bottle from the brewery, into a Duvel tulip.

Apparently only about a 200 bottle release with some kegs for Tasmanian distribution.

Pours a deepish orange colour with a pleasant glow to it. Nice beige fluffy foam on top at a couple of fingers in depth and retains very well. Some lacing.

Really nice aroma on this, passionfruit, mango and pineapple are all there and stay there. Definitely one of the best smelling Australian IPA's that i've encountered.

Taste is slightly sweet with passionfruit the main flavour.

Solid hop bitterness throughout and good balance with enough malt to back it up. While a lot of foam, the carbonation once poured is pretty low and this gives a nice soft syrupy feel with hop bite in the middle.

My second bottle of this and very impressed. For mine it's the best beer i've had in the Seven Sheds range and i hope this becomes a regular. The 500ml format for the ABV is a winner too, not too big to make it a share bottle, but enough to if people are around. Fun to drink, nice hop flavour and bitterness and decently sessionable even for a higher ABV Australian made IPA.

Mmm. Another ipa from the sheds. Lovely.

Hazy golden with a dash of copper to darken it up a bit. Head is persistent but a tad thin.

Much more in your face aroma than the Leggett. Wonderful tropical perfume on this one. Passion fruit and a bit of fresh grassiness.

Taste handles the aroma and backs it up with a well rounded bitterness. Not sure if that is a trait of Stella hops or just how this beer was put together. As it is, the balance is spot on carrying the bitterness, hop flavor, and malt in perfect proportions.

Will have to look into sourcing more of this. Hopefully this can be made on a regular basis as quality ipas like this are hard to find around here. Wonderful.

A massive thanks to MrKennedy for sending this one my way! Poured out as a very nice looking hazy copper color and a strong looking cream colored head on top. The retention is really impressive as well as the lacing too. The smell of the beer gives off a really nice fresh hop aroma with fruity notes and a touch of creamy malt in there too. The taste is awesome. This comes at you full force with the hops upfront then settles into a really nice mellowing malt flavor even with the lingering resin in there too. The mouthfeel is soft, gently carbonated and oily. Overall this is really good, first thing that came to mind when drinking this was DfH 90 minute IPA but even better than that. This beer deserves to be recognized for sure. Very good stuff here!

Copper with a lovely cream head that laces well. Aroma of nectarines, flowers, light spices, hints of tropical fruit. More tropical fruit as well as peach and biscuit sweetness in the taste.Good.
