Well, when my homeboy at my local spot said that this beer was “bone dry,” he wasn’t lying. That being said, it’s also flavorless like an OC house wife pre botox. Like, wow! There is zero going on here. It’s like your little brother who has dropped too much acid. This dang thing is lifeless.
I’m done.

Appearance: Dark brown/black with a nice tan head. Subdues quickly but leaves lacing down the glass.
Aroma: A good sniff gives you dark chocolate, roasted barley, and a touch of almost toffee-like sweetness. That being said, it's fairly subdued and inoffensive.
Taste: A nice and well-rounded typical stout flavour. Bitter dark chocolate with a touch of malt sweetness. Some roast aspects, but not enough to make it bitter. Again there is a little bit of toffee coming through, but overall it's not very complex.
Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation and medium-full body. Sits nicely on the tongue, and matches the style pretty well.
Drinkability: Overall, a very drinkable and approachable stout. This is never going to win awards, but it's also going to appeal to a wide range of people. Definitely an easy-drinking stout, rather than a 'cradle and sip' version.

On tap at the brewery. Nice looking beer, lacing completely covers the glass. All else is very subdued, light. If you want a big, meaty stout, go elsewhere.
