Poured from tap of Cellar Rats within Debonne Winery in Madison, Ohio. Poured into clear plastic pint.
A Brown, translucent, appropriate to style. Minimal one inch head dissapeared within about a minute.
S Hoppy, with some malt. I am looking forward to drinking this because it has the aroma of a classic oktoberfest.
T Muted hops, malts, really very good. As it warmed somewhat I did note that Cellar Rats skunkiness but it was not a deal breaker. Out of the 4 Cellar Rats beers this is clearly the best.
M Has some body and very approrpriate for the style.
D Good, and much better than its counterparts here at Cellar Rats.
Notes: Cellar Rats beers had ranged from VERY bitter to skunky to me in the past. This was a very appropriate balance of hops and malt. I was very happy with this beer.
