Note from the brewery: A light spritzy, soft on the palate, end of summer beer. 4% alc.
Review from notes written about 2 hours ago when I consumed it at the brewery. Poured into a clear plastic cup (as presented there).
A Satisfyingly opaque straw yellow body under a minimal white head that lasted only 60 seconds. I really appreciated that this pilsner is not the basic clear straw yellow boredom beer. 4.5
S Basic pilsner smell really of some barley. 3.0
T Good, soft pilsener taste, reminiscent of Victory Prima Pils. Quite good, excellent awareness of the style. 4.5
M Light, appropriate to the style but thicker than most pilseners, a welcome quality. 4.0
D Very drinkable with interesting taste, low ABV. Could not be improved, really. 5.0
Notes: What a terrible description provided by the brewery! This is a good to great beer that I would have taken more time to describe to the consumer! Cellar Rats continues to impress with this fine Pilsener.
