Deriving its name from Wilsonville, a town that now lies at the bottom of Lake Wallenpaupack, the Wally Wilson IPA floods taste buds with tropical hop notes. It's Bold and bitter like the forgotten town that's only remnant is an old church steeple that, according to local legend, can be spotted during a dry spell.

Mixed review based on tasting from brewery and can for take home.
Presents copper colored, a little haze, off white head that presents 1/2 inch thick, head dissipates quickly to thin head and some spots on the glass.
Smell is malt forward with caramel and toast, then some light citrus and grassy hops.
Taste is a bit sharp with a biting hop character, then malt with caramel and toast notes, light citrus and hops.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, low.moderate bitterness.
Overall - a good malt forward IPA - a little sweet and unrefined but maltiness is good change of pace.

On tap at the source.
A - Medium dark copper gold pour with dense white lacing and very little carbonation.
S - Biscuity caramel malt with not much else going on with maybe some floral.
T - Caramel malt base with light citrus spiciness that gains momentum throughout the sip.
M - Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel and no carbonation.
O - Not much personality but builds momentum.
