-Spiegelau ipa glass.
A: A fury of effervesce rages within the vessel. A bright orange colored body shows a weathered white capping of 2 inches with bready and spongey texture atop. Head retention was good, lacing was moderate on the vessel.
S: Sweet grapefruit juice is wet and juicy, on the open. Bright lemon zest has a big twang of pulpy citrus along with some crisp pale grains. The aroma is very wet and fresh, above moderate strength and was well lasting.
T: Bitterness of lemon peel and grapefruit pulp on the flavors open. Wet and juicy as with the nose, juicy lemons quench the tongues appetite for liquid bitterness. Great twang of citrus hop oils, along with a soft flowery dry hopping comes after for some balance. A light toastiness of bread crust and sweet speciality malts adds for a a classic base in conjunction with a classic hopping for an imperial ipa full of grapefruit and citrus.
M: Crisp mouthful with a nice fullness of malt and hop oils gives this a slippery texture. Juicy tartness.
O: This IPA oozes of wet and juicy classic hops, grapefruit and citrus, backed by a classic sweet and toasty malting. Big fresh wet juiciness gives this a strong impression and classic flavor per style. Outstanding drink-ability, with a juicy wetness and soft flowery hop finish, that will keep the tongue begging for more with very good balance. Very enjoyable by the bomber, does not tire, holds strong to the last sip.
