A: Cloudy gold color. Poured a one finger white head with fair retention. Laced down the glass.
S: Clear wheat and a big bitter hop aroma (wasn't expecting the 40-45 IBU's). If you thought it was a Wit by the name, you would know different at this point.
T: Wheat and lingering bitter. Not a complex beer, but it knows exactly what it is. This is a really nice span-breaker to APA's from wheat beers.
M: Light body. Carbonation in good balance.
D: Light and refreshing. Highly drinkable beer, but has a pretty good kick (6.0 abv).

A nice, refreshing, if not overly complex Wheat Ale. Pours a hazy golden with a slight head. The aroma is clean and distinctively wheaty. The flavor is clean and grainy with a surprising hop bitterness and a nice, clean, wheaty back end. This is clearly an American style, with none of the citrusy character of a European wheat. The mouthfeel is thin and refreshing. This is a highly drinkable beer for people who prefer the American style, which leans more toward a Pale Ale.
