Was lucky to be able to try this while on vacation in Aspen. Nice reddish amber with one finger cream head. Impeccable lacing.
Sweet malts and orange, some grassy notes as well.
The oak comes through nicely with almost a cherry like taste, there is some tart qualities as well as some nice citric bitterness. Lemon and orange shine through and mix nicely with some rich malt characteristics, subtle toffee and deep caramel.
Good body, nice carbonation and a nice dry finish.
This is good, brings a lot to the table. A solid offering from a great small independent brewery.
