Had this on tap in a pint glass at Vivo! in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Brown gradient, light at the bottom to very dark at the top, cloudy with no head. Lovely flavor of nuts, toasted hops, rye bread and caramel. Wonderful sweetness in the aftertaste accompanied by a bitter hop. Light brown lacing left in sand pattern rings after each sip. Not much of a smell even after drinking half, not enough to match the flavor. Overall, Chateau Kamiya makes some great beers, and this one follows. Not amazing, but a very solid brown ale.
