Poured on-tap at the Pacific Beach Ale House. The beer was poured into a pint glass with a honey-gold color and a filmy ring of head. It has a sweet citrus nose. The beer has a malty core flavor with citrus accents and a bitter hops undertone. The finish is typical bitter hops of most pales, but with a sour-malt aftertaste. Pretty standard for a Pale offering, but at the same time not overly memorable. Good thing I took notes...

A - Poured a golden color with a white head that leaves lacing behind

S - If of some hops on a malt backing

T - Like the smell some citrus hops on a sweet malt backing

M - This beer has a medium body with higher carbonation to it

D - This wasn't a bad beer just average nothing really sets it apart and nothing really wants me to get it again

Description: An extra pale ale with citrus and floral hop flavors and aromas, balanced by ample malt character.

Served in a Pilsner glass. The beer is light copper with a small white head. Retention is okay and the lacing is good.

I'm not getting a lot of aroma from the beer. It's well balanced with some caramel malt and a little bit of citrus. The taste is definitely well balanced. The citrus is more noticeable in the taste. The hops are a little earthy as well, balanced by the malt. Alcohol and bitterness are most noticeable in the finish.

Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Smooth and crisp.
