On-tap at the brewpub.
Pours a slightly hazy golden-straw color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.
Smells of crisp pilsner malts with good amounts of grassy hops, light fruits, and floral hops.
Tastes similar to how it smells. Light pilsner malt flavors are cut by mild amounts of braadiness to kick things off. Shortly thereafter good amounts of bananas and bubblegum flavors make their way into things. Mild amounts of grassy hops come in right before a mildly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's a bit on the thin side with active carbonation.
Drinkability is good. I didn't have a problem finishing my glass and could have another.
Overall I was originally told this was a DIPA however the Belgian Blonde makes much more sense. A nice attempt at the style but nothing really manages to pop. Still, it's worth a shot.
