Pours a deep brown colour with a finger of white head. Nice enough head retention and streaks of lacing down the glass. Smells of faint chocolate and roast, with some grainy malt. Flavour has a pleasant sweetness to it. Certainly not one of the better brown ales I've had, but I wouldn't pass this one down either.

ALmost certainly less than 5%. Enjoyed at the geourgeous restaurant and brewpub. Many browns are not worth brewing. This one had some roasted barley. Brown with a white head. Malt job, mollasses. Not a great finish and aftertaste.Below average mouthfeel. You try it since you are up here, but your pints are going to be with their main beer.
