Golden Orange color. White head.
Aroma: very odd. Sour dough bready aroma. Funk. No fruit. Some random herbal flavor.
Taste: very different from the nose. Lots of peach. Sour and tart. Acidic. So fruity and juicy. Amazing.
Mouthfeel: lighter bodied. Nice carbonation. Ends clean.
Overall, a really awesome beer. Too bad the nose isn't that good.

WOW. Just WOW.
Haven't seen the perfect balance of sweet and sour since Ommegang Rouge. This is even better, if that's possible.
It's a very clean sour, and I suspect this is because it's largely pasteurized juice added post fermentation. No funk at all here. And if you care about bacteria/yeast diversity: I don't see any of that here either. But you don't need that to make a killer sour. And this here is a killer sour.
Poured with a thick head, likely due to serving conditions. Remained hazy after settling, a pale golden hue.
Smells floral like a clean Gewürztraminer from Alsace. It's a fairly simple nose, but boy does it linger, and "simple" does not make a negative, just like "complex" does not make a positive, despite it's over use as a descriptor.
Tastes like? I don't know. I'd say white sweet tarts. Some may say peach, but this would be one unripe peach. This is sweet yet tart, like a sweet tart, but NOT chalky or dry. The front of the palate is lively and slightly savory, the mid is where the sourness kicks in, and the back has a nice--real nice in fact--lingering sweetness. Not cloying at all. Just a well balanced beer, and the perfect mouthfeel for a sour.

8oz at the Salted Pig in Riverside, on tap. Almost no head, but the carbonation level of the beer itself is actually pretty good. Dark orange/amber/brown color. It's really sour but also sweet, not too sweet, just a perfect balance for the sourness. It's a really really good fruit wild ale.
I absolutely can't wait for it to be bottled. This will be a new hit beer from LA.

Served at local watering hole in a 8 oz chalice. First thought was Cuvee des jacobins. Appearance is the reddish-brown one expects and the smell is very similar to other wild ales. However this beer is more tart than typical and definitely a unique taste on the back, perhaps the peaches? It also has more of the yeast 'burn' that I associate with traditional belgian dubbel or triples.
Overall I enjoyed this beer a great deal. The burn made it difficult to consume more than the amount I received, so I rated it lower than perfect. However, I would gladly drink one a day if I could.

On tap at the Torrey Pines Lodge. Pours a glowing yellowish orange. Little to no head. Carb is low. The body comes off as a bit heavy. Extraordinary sourness that makes the salivary glands go crazy. My stomach hates me after 8 ounces. Not much funk. Just big lactic sourness. Hugely acidic. Burning acidity. Decent fruit presence. Reminds me of an underripe white peach actually. Certainly a phenomenal beer that comes up just short of the top echelon of Lost Abbey sours.

Poured out as a hazy golden color with a white head on top. The smell of the beer is tart along with the taste, some subtle peach notes hidden within the sour elements that the beer has. The feel of the beer is light bodied with a clean finish. Overall it's a pretty solid Wild Ale.

Holy F!
Downside: wish it had a bit more carbonation.
Other than that, damn well near perfect. A bit on the sweet side but in terms of peaches-wild ale, this is the new standard for me. I can guess that there will be a Cable Car Peche or something similar along its product line in the near future.
Hint of fruit on the nose but can't really tell it's peaches like say Chez Monus. Got the fantastic blend of funk and fruit. Aroma of say DDG with fruit.
Tastes like a sweeter DDG (more so than Cable Car) with peaches. Just effin' money and can drink this all day, say watching the Chargers in the playoffs!
Love it; Happy New Years!
