750ml bottle at share. Light golden bosy with a frothy head. Peaches, as expected, on the aroma, along with some funky brett. Taste is fruity and tart, peaches and woody barrel notes.

750ml corked and caged bottle into a Founders snifter.
Clear bronze color with excellent carbonation. Thin white head with outstanding lace. Nose is vinegar, peach, a touch of lemon zest, and stonefruit pit. A bit aggressive. Beer opens tart and slightly sweet peach. I get vinegar, ripe stonefruit meat, and lemon tartness at the finish. Acidic and solidly tart but balanced by the prominent stonefruit presence. Body is light with moderate carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down sharp and accented with a lingering aftertaste.
Decent but a touch too much vinegar overall.

i remember loving the veritas 13, which had peaches and nectarines, and was stoked to see bottles of this one at the taproom when we visited. they were pricey, but i had to do it, and i am glad i did. they have decided to make this one somewhat more regularly now, which i think makes a lot of sense, the peaches are so wonderful with their complex wild culture and all the oak thats on this, it makes a unique and delicious drink that was probably ahead of its time when it first came out, but now rests squarely in a popular category and near its highest quality tier. its haze and pale colored from the bottle, lightly orange straw colored with a short white head and some viscosity for what it is. the nose is strongly acidic, surprisingly so, almost over developed from a bacterial standpoint, past lactic to acetic, stinging but not overly harsh, at least not when its cold, but it keeps ramping up as we work through the bottle, the last third of which is aggressively acidic, rough on the teeth and in the belly. there is however a nice mellowing oak richness, subtle honey and vanilla to it, and stronger white wine note, which bring out a lot of the peach and carry it all the way through. the fruit is sweet and ripe and natural and fuzzy, robustly summery and sexy, exciting with the polleny orchard blossoming funkiness of the brett, but i think interrupted just a bit by all the acidity, this would benefit from a reduction of acid for sure. i like the complexity though, and the forwardness of the peach, and hold this in very high regard, i just wonder how well it will age if its already this sour. good carbonation keeps it moving, intensely flavored and very well done overall! i love these guys
